Calling all Volunteers

Southside Support could not be successful without YOU - our volunteers! We have many opportunities throughout the year where volunteers can link arms and give back to the special needs community.

SNAZ (SPECIAL NEEDS ACCOMMODATION ZONE):

A tent or RV provided at community events for a quiet space for special needs parents to change diapers, nurse, feed, or calm their sensory-sensitive children. Volunteers are needed to help at the events by driving, setting up, cleaning up, and assisting parents with general information. Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Annual Educational Symposium: Yearly Conference for the community and parents for special needs children. Volunteers are needed for set-up, programs, guests assistance, food serving, and clean up.

Southside Soiree: Annual Fundraiser in February to raise money to support our mission. Volunteers needed to be On planning committee, day of event helpers, crafters and decorators, entertainers and more.

Coffee support groups: Monthly Support groups hosted for families of Special Needs individuals. . Volunteers needed to host or facilitate support groups, speak on special needs topics that relate and help/encourage special needs families.

SNAP( SPECIAL NEEDS ALLIANCE of PROFESSIONALS): quarterly networking meeting for business professionals with a heart for Special Needs families. Volunteers needed to set up, invite community members, day of event help, speaking or facilitating networking activities. .
